Uncountable nouns:
art, love, happiness, advice, information, news, rice, sugar, butter, water, electricity, gas, power, money, currency

We usually treat uncountable nouns as singular. We use a singular verb. For example:
This news is very important.
Your luggage looks heavy

We do not usually use the indefinite article a/an with uncountable nouns. We cannot say "an information" or "a music". But we can say a something of:
a piece of news
a bottle of water
a grain of rice

We can use some and any with uncountable nouns:
I've got some money.
Have you got any rice?

We can use a little and much with uncountable nouns:
I've got a little money.
I haven't got much rice

اسامی غیر قابل شمارش
اسامی غیرقابل شمارش مواد، مفاهیم و از این قبیل اسامی هستند که نمیتوان آنها را به بخش های مجزایی تقسیم کرد. ما نمیتوانیم آنها را بشماریم. برای مثال شیر را نمیتوان شمرد. شیشه های شیر یا لیترهای شیر را میتوان شمرد اما خودِ شیر را نمیتوان شمرد. در زیر چندین مثال برای اسامی غیرقابل شمارش ذکر میکنیم:

» معمولا اسامی غیرقابل شمارش به عنوان اسامی مفرد محسوب میشوند. بنابراین از افعال مفرد برای آنها استفاده میکنیم.

برای اسامی غیرقابل شمارش نمیتوانیم از حروف تعریف نامعین a/an استفاده کنیم. بعنوان مثال نمیتوان از ترکیب an information یا a music استفاده کنیم. اما میتوانیم بگوییم "یک بخشی از اسامی غیرقابل شمارش". برای مثال:

I've got some money
من کمی پول دارم.
Have you got any rice
آیا شما برنج دارید؟

از کلمات a little و much میتوانیم برای اسامی غیرقابل شمارش استفاده کنیم.
I've got a little money.
I haven't got much rice.
من برنج زیادی ندارم.
