Lesson 8
Determiners

Determiners are words like the, an, my, some. They are grammatically similar. They all come at the beginning of noun phrases, and usually we cannot use more than one determiner in the same noun phrase.
Articles:
a, an , the
َDefinite Article: the
Indefinite Articles: a, an
We use "definite" to mean sure, certain. "Definite" is particular.
We use "indefinite" to mean not sure, not certain. "Indefinite" is general.


Possessive Adjectives:
my, your, his, her, its, our, their, whose

Other determiners:
each, every
either, neither
some,any,no
much, many; more, most
little, less, least
few, fewer, fewest
what, whatever; which, whichever
both, half, all
several
enough

صفت اشاره

صفات اشاره به کلماتی مانند the, an, my, some گفته میشود. این کلمات از نظر گرامری شبیه هم می باشند. همه ی آنها در ابتدای عبارات اسمی می آیند و معمولا بیشتر از یک صفت اشاره در یک عبارت اسمی نمیتوانیم استفاده کنیم.

حرف تعیین معین: the
حروف تعیین غیر معین: a, an
ما از حروف تعیین معین زمانی استفاده میکنیم که معنای قطعی بدهد
زمانی از حروف تعیین غیر معین استفاده میکنیم که معنای غیر قطعی بدهد.
